Back in 2012, I was confronted with tracking the phenological development of grasses and vascular plants of seven Natura 2000 habitats and also High Nature Value (HNV) farmland. After five field trips to Southern Germany and several changes, I would like to share my final phenology protocol, which is one deliverable of our msave project. In this project, we were interested in finding out how remote sensing can help mapping habitats with relevance for nature conservation.
Feel free to use the protocol for your tasks and / or adapt it to your needs.
